BRIEF PROFILE AND ROLE IN "THE BATTLE FOR SANSKRIT(I)"

Born in 1950, Rajiv Malhotra is an Indian–American researcher, writer, speaker and public intellectual on current affairs as they relate to civilizations, cross-cultural encounters, religion and science. 
Rajiv Malhotra's latest book "The Battle for Sanskrit" is the source which has brought the issue to the front. As an endorement of the book says "This is a bol book, daring to take up some of the basic but unexamined assumptions of modern Western Indology." 
He is not only a scholar, but a kshatriya, who is confronting an established system of Indologists backed by mainstream media in the current battlefield.
